Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes, was born on this day in 1859. Though most remembered for detective Holmes, he also wrote several adventures of science fiction adventurer Professor Challenger, as well as many historical works.



Doyle's most famous creation, Sherlock Holmes, is depicted on this anthology.
