Today is film and television composer Henry Mancini's birthday. One of the most prolific composers of the 1960's through the 80's, his frequent collaborations with director Blake Edwards led to the classic scores to such films as The Pink Panther, Breakfast At Tiffany's, The Great Race and The Pary.
