Tiny Tim, the singer and musical historian of sorts, was born on this day in 1932. Though best known for his rendition of "Tiptoe Thru The Tulips," that was but one of many songs from earlier eras that Tiny Tim resurrected for new audiences in the 1960's and later.



Though he never left them for long, Tiny Tim would occasionally set aside the older songs for forays into new music, as indicated on this picture sleeve.
